1. WHAT LINOLA - FETT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR - TYPE OF MEDICINES (PHARMACOTHERAPY)
Linola - Fett is a dermatologist (skin preparation).
The active substance of Linola - Fett is 0.815 g of unsaturated fatty acids (C 18: 2 fatty acids) in 100 g of cream. Linola - Fett is a cream of the o / v emulsion type. Linola - Fett cream contains linoleic acid and 9,11-octadecadienoic acid from the group of unsaturated fatty acids.
Linola-Fett is used to support treatment of mild to moderate atopic eczema (neurodermitis) in the subacute (less violent) to chronic (elderly) stage.
Linola - Fett is suitable for adults and children of all ages except for the sudden deterioration of skin diseases (eczema, viral and bacterial diseases).
2. BEFORE YOU TAKE LINOLA-FETT.
Linola-Fett must not be used in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to unsaturated fatty acids, groundnut oil, soybean, cetylstearyl alcohol, sheep's wool (lanolin) or other ingredient. Take
special care with
Cetylstearyl alcohol, groundnut oil and lanolin may cause locally-bound skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis - skin inflammation).
Butyl hydroxytoluene (E 321 is from sheep's wool fat) can cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis), irritation of eyes and mucous membranes.
Groundnut oil can rarely cause a severe allergic reaction.
The tear resistance and condom safety is reduced if Linola-Fett cream is used in the anogenital region (genital organs and rectum) because the product contains vaseline.
If you are using other medicines (on a prescription or without it), consider the appropriateness of using Linola-Fett with your doctor. If the symptoms of the disease do not improve or the undesirable effects of the drug occur within 1 month, a medical check-up is required. Ask your doctor about the appropriateness of using other prescription drugs at the same time.
When prescribing other medicines, tell your doctor that you are using Linola-Fett.
Interaction with other medicinal products

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
There are no restrictions for use during pregnancy.
During breastfeeding, Linola-Fett should not be applied to the breast area so that the infant does not come into contact with the active ingredients of the cream.
Driving and using machines:
Linola - Fett has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.
3. HOW TO USE LINOLA FETT
Apply Linola - Fett as needed several times a day evenly on dry skin, twice daily use is sufficient.
Use Linola - Fett to improve the condition of the skin, or to the advice of the attending physician. The tolerability of the product has been demonstrated for up to 4 weeks.
4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Linola - Fett can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Common side effects: (1% - 10%) occurrence of local skin reactions (eg skin dermatitis) with redness and burning or itching of the skin.
Rare side effects: (0.01% - 0.1%) peanut oil can cause a severe allergic reaction.
Not known (can not be estimated from the available data): Swelling of the skin may occur.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
5. HOW TO STORE LINOLA - FETT
Do not store above 30C. Do not refrigerate, protect from frost.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the carton as: Applicable until ............
The shelf-life after first opening is 1 year.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer need. These measures help to protect the environment.
