WHAT ARE THE EYE LIVOSTIN?
Livostin is an anti-allergic (anti-hypersensitive) medicine.
Livostin eye drops are used to quickly and proactively reduce eye problems, such as itching, red eyes, swollen eyelids and tears caused by allergies (hypersensitivity) to grass, pollen, mold, dust and other substances.
Effect occurs very quickly, no later than 15 minutes after use and lasts up to 12 hours.
Livostin can be used by adults and children from six years of age.
WHAT LIVOSTIN CONTAINS?
The active substance of Livostin eye drops is levocabastine (levocabastine) in the form of levocabastine hydrochloride (levocabastine hydrochloride).
Livostin is manufactured as a sterile white microsuspension in plastic bottles
with a 4 milliliter content, with a drop-off cap.
One milliliter of eye drops contains 0.54 milligrams levocabastine hydrochloride,
equivalent to 0.50 milligrams of levocabastine and 0.15 milligrams of benzalkonium chloride (a preservative).
The other ingredients are: propylene glycol, sodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, hypromellose 2910, polysorbate 80,
disodium edetate dihydrate, water for injections.
WHAT SPECIAL MEASURES WILL YOU NEED TO COMPLY?
Soft Contact Lenses Do not wear soft contact lenses
during treatment with eye drops containing
Benzalkonium chloride, also with Livostin drops.
If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, tell your doctor who decides whether you can use Livostin.
-feeding You can use Livostin during breast-feeding unless your doctor decides otherwise.
Driving and using machines
Livostin eye drops do not affect alertness, concentration or ability to drive or operate machinery.
HOW TO USE LIVOSTINE LIVOSTINE The Livotin
eye drops are manufactured in a form of microsuspension.
Before each use, shake the contents of the bottle thoroughly.
The usual recommended dosage is for adults and children from six years of age to drip twice a day one drop into each eye.
If the difficulty is very unpleasant, you can drip one eye three times or four times a day into each eye.
The treatment may continue until the improvement of the difficulty, but if there is no significant improvement or withdrawal of difficulty within one week, consult your doctor for further use.
When treating all-year allergic problems, the product can be used for good effect for several months.
Use in children under six years of age should be considered by the physician with special regard to the dosage form.
It is quite rare to notice a slightly burning sensation immediately after your eyes. If it is not too strenuous, do not look for a doctor or pharmacist.
Very rarely, hypersensitivity reactions may occur, in which case talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about other side effects you may notice.
If accidentally ingested whole content of the bottle or if accidentally ingested by a child is likely to come drowsiness. Before you can get
in touch with a doctor, it is advisable to drink plenty of water.
