Lopacut belongs to a group of anti-diarrheal medicines. Lopacut is used to relieve the symptoms of sudden, short-term diarrhea (acute diarrhea) in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. Lopacut thickens the stool and reduces its frequency.
Dosage and method of use
Always take Lopacut exactly as your doctor has told you.
Use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: The starting dose is 2 tablets, followed by 1 tablet after each loose stool.
Ingredients
Lopacut contains the active substance loperamide hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica and magnesium stearate, polydextrose, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171) and macrogol.
Contraindication
Do not take Lopacut if you are allergic to loperamide or any of the other ingredients. Do not administer to children under 12 years of age.
