Medreg Flaxios is used by adults to treat symptoms related to chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities , such as heaviness and swelling of the legs, pain, night leg cramps and skin changes due to poor nutrition. The preparation increases the tension of the venous wall and the resistance of small vessels, has an anti-inflammatory effect and reduces the formation of swelling. Medreg Flaxios is also intended to treat symptoms related to acute hemorrhoidal disease. Hemorrhoids are manifested by itching, pain, bleeding or swelling in the anus.
Dosage
For the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, take 2 tablets once a day or 1 tablet twice a day with food. Wash down with a glass of water. Take the tablets for at least 4 to 5 weeks. Do not take for more than 3 months without consulting a doctor.
For acute hemorrhoids , take 3 tablets twice a day with meals for the first 4 days, then 2 tablets twice a day for the next 3 days. Then take 1 tablet twice a day. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water. If the symptoms of hemorrhoids do not improve within 7 days, consult a doctor. Do not take for more than 15 days without consulting a doctor.
Composition
The active substance is micronised flavonoids (containing 90% diosmin and 10% other flavonoids expressed as hesperidin). One film-coated tablet contains 500 mg of micronised flavonoids (containing 450 mg diosmin and 50 mg other flavonoids expressed as hesperidin).
The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose 102, gelatin, corn starch, talc (E553b), magnesium stearate, partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (E1203), titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 3350 (E1521), yellow iron oxide (E172), red iron oxide (E172).
