Mepitel One silicone dressing is a wound contact layer intended for a wide range of wounds such as painful wounds, lacerations, abrasions, surgical incisions, 2nd degree burns, traumatic injuries, blisters, lacerations, skin superficial deep grafts, irradiated skin, leg ulcers.
It can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and in areas with fragile skin.
- Minimizes pain and trauma during dressing changes.
- Minimizes the risk of maceration (soaking of the wound edges)
- Transparent for easy inspection of the wound during application.
- Low probability of skin irritation or allergy.
- It does not leave any residue in the wound and does not dry out.
- It adapts to the contours of the body and stays in place.
The package contains 5 plasters in the size of 9 x 10 cm.
Dosage and method of use
You can leave Mepitel One on the wound for up to 14 days, depending on the condition of the wound and the surrounding skin or according to established clinical practice (exudate should pass freely through the dressing and the openings should not be blocked).
Contraindication
Read the package leaflet carefully.
Do not use repeatedly. With repeated use, the characteristics of the product may deteriorate and cross-contamination may occur.
Do not use if the inner packaging is damaged or opened before use.
