The blood type test is a set of home tests to determine your blood type in the ABO and Rh systems. It is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only. This technique of detecting blood type is already used worldwide.
The ABO system divides blood into four possible types A, B, AB and O. A person with blood group A has a protein called antigen A on the surface of erythrocytes, a person with blood group B has a protein called antigen B, a person with blood group AB has antigen A i B and the person with blood group O does not have antigen A or B
Blood plasma may contain one, both or neither of Anti-A and Anti-B antibodies.
Individuals essentially have only antibodies to blood groups other than their own. As an example, Group A blood will never contain Anti-A.
The blood type is determined genetically. Antigens are present at birth, while antibodies develop during the first year of life. Landsteiner's findings have been the subject of extensive research, and a large number of other blood-type systems have been discovered, the most important of which is the Rh system described in 1940.
The Rh blood group system is much more complicated than the ABO system. The most important are the D antigen and the corresponding Anti-D antibody. Antigen D is also attached to the surface of entrocytes, and the person in whom this antigen occurs is called D-positive or Rh-positive.
You will never find Anti-D in the plasma of a Rh-positive person.
Blood without D antigen on red blood cells is called D-negative or Rh-negative and usually does not contain Anti-D in the blood plasma. However, if D-positive erythrocytes are introduced into the blood of D-negative individuals, Anti-D is formed.
How to use:Use a sterile lancet to get a sample of your flower. It is placed in 4 circles on a test card and mixed with a drop of water. After a few minutes, you can determine your blood type.
In the first three round boxes on the card you will find Anti-A, Anti-B and Anti-D. These antibodies bind the red blood cells together with the antigens into clusters called agglutinates. The agglutinate is visible to the naked eye. Thus, group A blood - containing antigen A - will agglutinate in the Anti-A field, group B blood will agglutinate in the Anti-B field, group AB blood will agglutinate in the Anti-A and Anti-B fields, while group O blood will not agglutinate in the Anti-A field either. the Anti-A field or the Anti-B field.
Rh positive blood will agglutinate in the Anti-D field. In this way, the presence or absence of agglutinate will indicate the blood type applied to the card. To get the right result, it is essential that you do not mix the contents of a box into another box.
The fourth ring contains the control reagent. There is normally no agglutinate in this ring. However, if it occurs, something went wrong during the test and the result is invalid.
