MycoMedica Oyster 90 capsules

Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) contains a large amount of beneficial substances: enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, fatty acids, terpenes and especially polysaccharides. A specific 1,3 D betaglucan called pleuran is particularly important for therapeutic purposes.

Although it has been known in Chinese medicine for a long time (at least since the Sung dynasty, when it was called the "divine flower"), its cultivation did not begin to develop until the middle of the last century. Surprisingly not in China, but in Europe (Italy and Hungary). It grows in a temperate climate zone on dead and living tree trunks, which is damaged by white rot.
