Detailed product information

Nasivin 0.01% of nasal drops reduce congestion of the nasal mucosa, thereby facilitating nose-breathing and improving mucus release. Nasivin 0.01% relieves symptoms of acute rhinitis and allergic rhinitis. It is also used in seizures of non-infectious vasomotor rhinitis. Nasivin 0.01% is for newborns and infants up to 1 year of age.

How is Nasivin 0.01% nasal drops used:

Newborns within 4 weeks are given 1 drop of solution per nostril 2-3 times a day. From the 5th week to 1 year , 1-2 drops are applied to each nostril 2-3x a day. The effect usually takes a few seconds and lasts up to 8 hours. In newborns with lower body weight and premature newborns, the doctor should decide on the dosage. Do not use Nasivin for more than 7 days unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor.

Pharmacy council:

For small children, it is most important to keep a nasal nose . Rinse children to the cold every time you see your nose in the nose, more often! For newborns and infants, avoid oil drops and drops containing aromatics, most often menthol, that may cause laryngeal cramping. Other nose drops and mucous membrane sprays should be used for a short time, not longer than 1 week. For long-term use, isotonic seawater solutions are suitable , which purify, hydrate and reduce the adhesion of viruses and bacteria to the mucous membrane, resulting in faster regeneration.
