Professional detection tubes for precise determination of alcohol in breath. The complete set includes 10 high-quality glass tubes, ergonomic mouthpieces and a special inflatable bag. Thanks to the unique chemical reaction inside the tube, which signals the presence of alcohol by turning green, you have an extremely reliable and accurate detection method at your disposal, without the risk of affecting the results by insufficient batteries or faulty electronics, which is a common problem with cheap electronic meters. For best results, we recommend using the tubes within 18 months from the date of manufacture.
How does it all work?
When a person's breath comes into contact with the potassium dichromate in the tube, a chemical reaction occurs if alcohol is present in the breath. The potassium dichromate is then reduced to chromium oxide, which causes the tube to turn green.
Procedure for correct use:
- Use the integrated cutters on the packaging to cut off the tips of the glass tube.
- We attach an ergonomic mouthpiece to the end of the tube with a visible arrow.
- Place the included rubber balloon on the opposite end.
- Take a deep breath and exhale into the tube for at least 20 seconds until the balloon contains enough air.
- Wait 2 minutes after inflating the balloon before checking the result. Checking before this time may result in inconsistent results."
Warning: Read the instructions for use and information on safe use carefully.
