Infasource is a food for special medical purposes. Nutritionally complete liquid infant formula for optimal growth and development of infants with an increased need for energy supply - i.e. failure to thrive or risk of infant failure. Contains hydrolyzed whey protein and LC-PUFA.
- It is characterized by high digestibility and easy absorption.
- Intended for children from birth to 1 year.
The package contains 32x90 ml (2880 ml).
Dosage and method of use
The required daily nutritional intake of food and fluids must be determined by a physician.
Preparation instructions: Check the expiration date on the bottle. If the bottle is damaged in any way, do not use it. Shake before use.
Instructions for preparation: Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing infant formula. Ensure all feeding equipment is sterile.
For oral administration: Remove plastic cap and aluminum foil. Put on a sterile teat.
When using a baby bottle:
- Wash the bottle, cap and teat properly so that no food remains inside.
- Boil for 5 minutes. Keep the container closed during brewing until the bottle is removed.
- Pour the desired amount of nutrition into the boiled bottle.
- Close the Infasource bottle again, store in the refrigerator (< 5 °C) and use the remaining nutrition within 24 hours.
Check the temperature, if necessary, place the warm bottle in warm water. Be careful not to submerge the teat. Always check the suitable temperature of the food before feeding. Do not reheat in a microwave oven. Do not reuse or dilute the product. Always hold the baby in your arms during feeding.
Do not leave the child unattended, otherwise the food may be inhaled and swallowed. Discard uneaten portions within 1 hour of administration.
For gavage administration: After opening or pouring into a sterile closed system, administer within 6 hours. Use an enteral pump to maintain constant flow. After opening, close with a lid, store in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours.
Composition
Drinking water, partially hydrolyzed whey proteins , vegetable oils (sunflower, structured palm, coconut, rape), maltodextrin, lactose, minerals (calcium salts of phosphoric acid, potassium chloride, magnesium salts of citric acid, potassium salts of phosphoric acid, sodium chloride, calcium chloride, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, manganese sulfate, potassium iodide, sodium selenate), fish oil (contains DHA), acidity regulator (E 330), Mortierella alpina oil (contains ARA), L-histidine, choline - chloride, vitamins (C, E, pantothenic acid, niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, A, B6, B12, biotin, K, folic acid, D), inositol, L-arginine, taurine, L-carnitine. Gluten free. UHT treated.
