Neurobion is a medicine containing thiamine (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) and is intended for adults only. It can be used to prevent the decline in levels of these vitamins in the body or to treat a deficiency (when your body does not have enough of these vitamins).

Low levels of vitamin B1, B6 or B12 can occur if:

  • do not eat enough foods containing these vitamins
  • Your body can't absorb vitamins from food
  • you have had surgery on your stomach or intestines, which may affect the absorption of nutrients
  • you have certain diseases, such as certain inflammatory diseases, that can increase the amount of vitamins your body needs
  • you have a disease, such as kidney disease, that can cause your body to remove more vitamins than usual

Low levels of vitamin B1, B6 or B12 may be more common in the elderly or in patients suffering from neurological diseases, diabetes (diabetes) or diseases of the gastrointestinal tract such as inflammatory bowel disease or celiac disease (a disease caused by gluten intolerance). If you have low levels of vitamin B1, B6 or B12, you may not experience any symptoms at first, but you may start to experience signs such as tiredness or tingling and numbness in your hands and feet.

Only use this medicine if you know that you have any of the above conditions or diseases (i.e. the diagnosis has been confirmed by your doctor) and your doctor has recommended treatment with this medicine.

The carton pack contains 30 tablets.
