North American Herb & Spice (NAHS) was the first American company to launch edible oregano oil on the market in the 1990s. The founders of the wild oregano herb studied in detail at that time and subsequently personally tested them for many years and today they are considered experts. NAHS Oreganol P73 has been studied at the prestigious Georgetown University in Washington for its effectiveness against yeast (candida albicans), and has been found to be effective and safe to consume.

  • The first brand in the world to develop an oil CO2 extract from wild oregano.
  • In Oreganol P73 there is a wild oregano with guaranteed minimum content polyphenols 65%.
  • It's about hand-collected wild oregano, growing in remote mountain areas of Turkey.
  • Oreganol P73 is 100% BIO, and has been on the market of natural food supplements since the 1990s.
  • Oreganol P73 developed Judy Kay Gray, M.S., nutrition expert and founder of North American Herb & Spice (NAHS).
  • In cooperation with Dr. Cassem Ingram, by a nutritional doctor and well-known author of more than ten books on the topic of natural treatment.

Oregano oil is considered the most powerful natural antibiotic and antiseptic in the world - it is an effective killer of parasites, viruses, bacteria, yeasts and fungi.  P73 indicates a high percentage of polyphenols in this particular brand of oregano oil, the minimum is 65%. These are bactericidal phenols such as carvacrol (substances that kill harmful bacteria).

According to Dr. An ingram is impossible for any manufacturer to claim that its brand of oregano oil contains over 80% carvacrol without adding synthetic carvacrol or other admixture to the extract, as this percentage is very difficult to obtain from wild herbs.

For oregano oil to be safe to consume, it must come from herbal extracts that grow only in the wild and high-lying mountain areas of the Mediterranean, in countries such as Turkey, Lebanon, or in smaller quantities Greece. This is the only certainty that it will not contain pesticides and modern chemicals. Because undiluted oregano oil is very strong, it should be emulsified in carrier oil such as extra virgin olive, which is used by NAHS.

Oreganol P73 is made in the traditional cold pressing and steam distillation using mineral mountain water.

In addition to essential clove oil, it has oregano oil the highest known ORAC value (300,000 per 100g) in the world. Did you know that oregano exhibits 50 times higher antioxidant activity than apples and 30 times higher than potatoes?

Oregano oil is known as the strongest essential oil in the world!

Main components

1. Phenols

Natural carvacrol phenol - P73 has more than 65% carvacrol - the high content of this phenol indicates quality oregano oil.

Thymol phenol - the content of this phenol in P73 is less than 5%. Weak quality oregano oils usually contain a higher percentage of this component, which can be problematic in a larger concentration.

Cuminaldehyde phenol - main ingredient in cumin oil, Cuminum cyminum. It is a natural aldehyde.

Terpenes are an essential part of essential oils (ether oils). They are volatile fragrances contained in leaves, fruits, flowers, rhizomes and roots of plants.

Pinen and terpinene

2. Alcohol

Linalool and bonreol - two long chain alcohols found in oregano oil.

3. Esters

Esters are part of plant fruits and give them their specific aroma.

Linalylacetate and geranyl acetate

Use

The manufacturer's recommended dosages are 2-3 drops a day under the tongue, which can also be called the so-called conventional dose. For a specific higher dosage, it is advisable to consult a qualified person who knows your health. Try to keep the oil under your tongue for as long as possible until it dissolves naturally, then swallow. It is a very powerful oil and its potency increases even when you drip it on a teaspoon of honey (raw, BIO) and swallow it. The oil is very aromatic and you may initially feel a similar burning sensation in your mouth. This feeling is short-lived and will pass over time as you get used to it.

ATTENTION: The oil must not get into the eyes and genital area - it will sting and burn a lot. In this case, it is necessary to wash thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. Do not drink alcohol for at least 3 hours after ingestion, preferably not at all.
