Novo-Passit solution contains plant extracts with a depressant effect and guaifenesin, which counteracts fear and anxiety. It is intended for the treatment of anxiety and irritability, which are manifested by fatigue, decreased concentration, fatigue, insomnia, memory disturbances and poor performance. Furthermore, Novo-Passit can be used in mild forms of insomnia and to treat headaches caused by psychological stress. Novo-Passit can be used by adults and adolescents from the age of 12 years.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age usually take 5 ml of solution 3 times a day at intervals of 4-6 hours. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 10 ml 3 times a day. In the event of undesired sedation, it is recommended to take 2.5 ml in the morning and 2.5 ml at noon, then in the evening 5 ml. The maximum daily dose is 30 ml of solution. Do not take more than 14 days without consulting your doctor.

Composition

The active substances are Herbarum extract for Passit fluid 7.75 g (equivalent to Hyperici herba 357-512 mg, Passiflorae herba 71-102 mg, Valerianae radix 357-512 mg, Crataegi folium cum flore 357-512 mg, Lupuli flos 357-512 mg Melissae herba 143-205 mg, Sambuci flos 143-205 mg, extracted with water), guaifenesin 4.0 g in 100 ml oral solution.

The other ingredients are sodium cyclamate, xanthan gum, invertose 50%, sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium monohydrate, ethanol 96% v / v, orange flavor, sodium citrate dihydrate, maltodextrin, propylene glycol, purified water.

Notice

It also contains 13.2% alcohol by volume (% v / v) and is therefore harmful to alcoholics and should also be taken into account in pregnant and lactating women, children and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy. Due to the content of St. John's wort extract, the product may reduce the effectiveness of hormonal contraceptives.
