GTO-OIL is a liquid preparation consisting of glycerol trioleate (GTO) oil, containing approximately 90% oleic acid and only trace amounts of very long chain saturated fatty acids. Intended for dietary procedure for adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) associated with a fat-limiting diet.
For enteral use only. For use under medical supervision only. Not suitable as the only source of nutrition. Designed for infants, children and adults.
Dietary food for special medical purposes.
Pack size is 500 ml.
Dosage and method of use
Dosage is individual. It depends on the age, body weight and state of health of the patient and must be regularly adjusted by a doctor or a person qualified in clinical nutrition.
GTO-OIL is used in cooking, baking or salad dressings.
