Oftagel eye gel 10 g
Oftagel eye gel 10 g
Oftagel is an eye gel used to treat dry conjunctival and corneal inflammation and dry eye syndrome in adults, adolescents and children.
Detailed product information
Oftagel is used to treat dry conjunctival and corneal inflammation and to alleviate the difficulties associated with dry eye syndrome (caused by insufficient tear formation, eyewash disorder). The most common symptoms of dry eye syndrome are eye burns, soreness, irritation, feeling of a foreign body or sand, pressure, eye fatigue, eyelid attachment and light-fastness. The eye gel maintains the integrity of the tear film (protecting the eye) and good slippery properties.
Dosage:
Adults, adolescents and children dose 1 - 4 times a day 1 drop of the product into the affected eye. The product is for eye administration only and is applied to the conjunctival sac. Treatment of dry eye syndrome is usually long-term. When applied, the dropper should not come into contact with any surface (or the surface of the eye) to prevent contamination of the eye and eye injury. It is necessary to prevent contact of the eye gel with soft contact lenses (possibility of coloring of lenses).
If the difficulties persist for more than 5 days or even worsen and if the pain is felt in the eye, the vision changes, there is persistent redness or irritation of the eye, it is necessary to see a doctor. During pregnancy or during breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult with a physician.
