The role of the essential amino acid L-lysine

Lack of sleep, intense sunlight in summer or when skiing, stress or other negative environmental influences can challenge our immune system and increase the need for nutrients. Some then describe an unpleasant itching or tingling sensation on the skin and mucous membranes - especially on the lips. The amino acid L-lysine is a natural component of the proteins in our body, which are important building blocks of our immune system. Vitamins A and C as well as the trace elements zinc and selenium support normal immune function ¹ . Recommended consumption
