Ophthalmo-Azulen eye ointment 5 g

Ophthalmo-Azulen ophthalmic ointment promotes healing, has anti-inflammatory and disinfecting effects. It contains substances isolated from chamomile - azulene. Ophthalmo-Azulen is suitable for use in minor eyelid, conjunctival and corneal injuries and to accelerate the healing process after removing foreign bodies from the cornea.

Ophthalmo-Azulen Eye Ointment is for adults and children. The product can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

How to use Ophthalmo-Azulen Eye Ointment:

Adults and children inject the eye ointment into the conjunctival sac or apply epiglottis to the skin and eye area 3-5 times a day until complete healing. It is advisable to keep the eye closed for 2-3 minutes after insertion of the ointment into the ophthalmic slit so that the active substance does not drain with tears and can be absorbed by the cornea and conjunctiva. Do not use the product for more than 10 days without consulting your doctor.

Composition:

The active substance is guaiazulen 7.5 mg in 5 g eye ointment.

Excipients are white wax, sheep wool (lanolin), hard paraffin, liquid paraffin, eye white petroleum jelly.

Notice:

Ophthalmo-Azulen contains wool grease (lanolin) that can cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis).
