Peace of mind forte 160 Dragees

nerve rest forte is a traditional herbal medicine for use in mild symptoms of mental stress and sleep disorders caused by nervousness. This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is only registered for the stated areas of application because it has been used for many years.

This medicine is used in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.

If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 14 days, contact your doctor.

Contraindications

nerve rest forte must not be taken if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to valerian, passion flower, hops or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.

interactions

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. No interactions are known to date. No interaction studies have been performed.

pregnancy and breast feeding period

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. In the absence of sufficient data, use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.

Caution: This medicine may impair the ability to drive and use machines. Affected patients should not drive or operate machines.

application

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is

Adults and young people aged 12 and over:

• For mild symptoms of mental stress: 1-2 dragees 1 to 3 times during the day if required.
• For sleep disorders caused by nervousness: 2-3 dragees in the evening about 1 hour before going to bed.

side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Gastrointestinal complaints (such as nausea and abdominal cramps) can occur after taking preparations containing valerian root. Information on the frequency cannot be given

composition

1 dragee contains:

• 30 mg dry extract of valerian root (Valerianae radix, drug-extract ratio (DEV) 3 - 6:1)
  extractant: ethanol 70% (v/v)
• 18 mg dry extract of passion flower herb (Passiflorae herba, DEV 5 - 7 : 1)
  extractant: methanol 60% (v/v)
• 15 mg dry extract of hop blossoms (Lupuli flos, DEV 4 - 8 :1)
  extractant: ethanol 40% (v/v)

The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, spray dried glucose syrup, maltodextrin, crospovidone, talc, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, gum arabic, sucrose, basic butyl methacrylate copolymer (dry matter of Eudragit E 12.5%), methyl cellulose, calcium carbonate, povidone , Titanium Dioxide (E 171), Glycerol 85%, Quinoline Yellow (D&C Yellow No.10 Aluminum Lake HT, E 104), Montan Glycol Wax
