The Peat Thermophore medical device is intended for heat therapy for the cervical spine. The shape of the peat cervical thermophore is adapted to the shape and anatomy of the body around the cervical spine and shoulders. Thermophore is particularly suitable for stiffness and pain in muscles, joints and cervical spine, chronic pain of rheumatic origin and pain of other kinds, but not of inflammatory origin.
Dosage and method of use
Microwave heating: Heat for no more than 600 minutes at 3W. If the thermophore starts to increase its volume too much, stop heating and let the pad cool. Then heat again.
Heating in gas, hot air and electric ovens: Heat for a maximum of 10 minutes at 150°C. If the thermophore starts to increase its volume too much, stop heating and let the pad cool completely. Then heat again.
Heating in a water bath: Place the thermophore without packaging in a container with water and heat to 80°C. When the temperature is reached, let the pad warm up in a water bath for another 5-10 minutes, but without the heating turned on. Then remove and dry. Water must not boil, otherwise the product will be damaged.
