PELVIQ NRV 30 tablets

PELVIQ NRV is a dietary supplement for the pelvic floor containing nervonic acid, thioctic acid, carnitine and vitamins B3, B6 and B12.

The correct conduction of the electrical signal (action potential) by nerve cells (neurons) is made possible, among other things, by the fact that some of their projections (axons) are wrapped in a myelin sheath, which has insulating and protective properties. The composition of myelin is characterized by a high content of fats, and especially some fatty acids.

Nervonic acid is an omega-9 monounsaturated fatty acid that is a natural component of the myelin sheaths of nerve cells, including those innervating the pelvic floor muscles. Nervonic acid is found in myelin sheaths both in the form of ceramides and in the form of ceramide derivatives - sphingomyelins, glycosphingolipids and cerebrosides.

• In addition to nervonic acid, PELVIQ® NRV also contains α-lipoic acid (thioctic) and carnitine.
• Carnitine occurs naturally on the membranes of mitochondria. The basic function of mitochondria is energy production. Most of the carnitine in the body is found in the muscles, including the pelvic floor muscles.
• The contained vitamins B3, B6 and B12 support normal energy metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system. They also help reduce fatigue and exhaustion. Vitamin B6 also contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
• Zinc and selenium contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. 
• Blueberry extract supports the normal functioning of the vascular system and also acts as an antioxidant.
