The self-diagnostic test for the detection of group A ß-hemolytic streptococci in throat swab samples will give you a result in just 5 minutes . The test can be used for symptoms such as pain when swallowing, sore throat, red and swollen tonsils, sometimes with a white coating or pus, small red spots on the back of the palate, swollen lymph nodes, fever, headache, nausea or vomiting, especially in children. The test specifically identifies group A ß-hemolytic streptococci if their concentration in the extracted sample is equal to or greater than 104 CFU/ml (cut-off value).
