Procto-glyvenol rectal hemorrhoids cream 30 g
Procto-glyvenol treats external and internal hemorrhoids . Hemorrhoids are painful, swollen veins in the area of the rectum. The active substance tribenoside acts against inflammation, lidocaine desensitizes this area and together it provides relief from itching, chills and hemorrhoid pain . The product is for adults, and can only be used by the doctor on recommendation. Procto-glyvenol should not be used during the first three months of pregnancy. During breast-feeding and after the third month of pregnancy, it can be used according to the recommended dosage.
Dosage:
In case of acute problems, apply the cream twice a day (once in the morning and once in the evening). If the problem recedes, apply the cream once a day. Push the rectal cream into the rectum using a plastic applicator or apply it to the rectum. Before each treatment, especially after the stool, it is necessary to carefully wash the area around the rectum or to sprinkle it with cold water. If your condition gets worse or does not improve within 7 days, talk to your doctor.
Composition:
The active substances are tribenoside (5 g) and lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate (2 g) in 100 g rectal cream.
The other ingredients are cetomacrogol 1000, cetyl alcohol, isopropyl palmitate, liquid paraffin, methylparaben, propylparaben, sorbitan stearate, 70% non-crystallising sorbitol, stearic acid, purified water.
Notice:
Procto-glyvenol contains methylparaben and propylparaben, which can cause allergic reactions (likely to be delayed). Procto-glyvenol contains cetyl alcohol, which can cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis).
