Why does our body need iron?
Iron contributes to the normal production of red blood cells, it is an essential part of the red blood pigment - hemoglobin. Red blood cells carry oxygen in the body, without which no cell can do. Our brain has the highest oxygen demand. The organism has only limited possibilities of storing and processing iron in the body and therefore has to receive iron consistently, in the right amount and in the appropriate form.

Floradix contains iron in a well bioavailable organic form of ferrous gluconate. Due to the high absorbability of the iron contained in Floradix, only a very small portion of the unabsorbed iron is eliminated by the digestive tract. This reduces the risk of side effects such as stomach upset and constipation, which are more common with elemental iron

intake. Floradix contains iron and substances that promote its absorption. They are vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12 and C and extracts of herbs and fruit juices, wheat germ, yeast and rosehip. The acid environment of the digestive tract is important for iron absorption.

Floradix is ​​a unique liquid food supplement. Floradix is ​​suitable for menstruation and for pregnant and nursing women. It is suitable for children in the period of growth, for adolescents, for the elderly and convalescent. For vegetarians who reject meat as the most important natural source of iron, iron supplements are virtually the only source of this indispensable substance.

Aqueous extracts (54%): carrot root, nettle leaf, spinach leaf, creeper root, fennel fruit, seaweed, hibiscus flower; fruit juices (29,4%): of pear, grape, blackcurrant, blackberry, sour cherry, orange, beet (Beta vulgaris), lemon, locust beans, apples; aqueous yeast extract (Saccharomyces cerevisce); copper; rosehip extract (contains 4% vitamin C); iron II (ferrous gluconate); wheat loop extract; vitamin C (ascorbic acid); vitamin B1; vitamin B2; vitamin B6; vitamin B12

Adults and children from 12 years: 10 ml twice a day, children 6-11 years: 10 ml once a day, children 3-6 years: 5 ml once a day.

Take the preparation about 30 minutes before breakfast and before dinner. A time interval of 30 minutes from food is important in terms of iron absorbability, as some ingredients (eg coffee or tea) may prevent iron absorption.
