Sanorin emulsion reduces the swelling of the nasal mucosa and releases the mucus from the nose, the nasal sinuses and the tube connecting the middle ear and the pharynx (Eustachian tube). This allows free nose breathing. Sanorin emulsion releases a blocked nose in acute rhinitis. Nasal drops of Sanorin emulsions can be used by adults and adolescents from 15 years of age.
Dosage:
Adults and adolescents from 15 years of age have 1-3 drops of the preparation in each nostril several times a day (usually 3 times a day) at a minimum of 4 hours. The effect usually takes up to 5 minutes and lasts 4-6 hours. It is used for a short time, not longer than 5 days. Repeatedly, the product may only be given after treatment for several days.
Composition:
The active substance is naphazoline nitras 10 mg (corresponding to 7.6 mg naphazoline) in 10 ml (equivalent to 51.3 μg naphazoline nitrates in one drop).
The other ingredients are boric acid E284, edamine, cetyl alcohol, methylparaben E218, palm kernel, polysorbate 80, cholesterol, light paraffin, purified water.
