The material is oxidized cellulose, which, due to its high absorption capacity, changes into a gel-like structure after contact with blood, which protects platelets from washing out of the wound, thus achieving a quick and effective stoppage of bleeding. It participates in the acceleration of biochemical processes, supports the healing process.

• Traumastem TAF Light is used as an aid to stop capillary, venous, and small arterial bleeding, as well as to prevent bleeding in the early postoperative period.
• It can be used in all areas of stopping diffuse bleeding from resection areas, for example, parenchymatous organs, muscles or limited body cavities.
• The wide range of applications allows for use in classically performed procedures, robotic surgery, and endoscopic procedures (e.g. laparoscopic).
