Venoruton 500mg - 30 tablets

This medicine is used to support the treatment of symptoms:

in diseases of the leg veins, such as:

• Fluid retention (oedema) and swelling
• Pain, cramps or tingling in the legs, "tired and heavy legs".

with hemorrhoids.

Contraindications

Do not take Venoruton if you are allergic to oxerutin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Interactions with other drugs are not known.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

As a precaution, Venoruton should not be taken during the first 3 months of pregnancy.

Breast-feeding women should consult a doctor before taking Venoruton.

To take.
Swallow whole with sufficient liquid during meals.

The recommended dose is 2 tablets per day (1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening or 2 tablets at a time either in the morning or in the evening).

A treatment of 4 to 8 weeks is usually sufficient. The effect lasts beyond this period.

side effects

Some side effects can be serious and are very rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people).
If you experience any of the following signs of allergy, you must STOP taking Venoruton and seek medical help immediately:

• Difficulty breathing or swallowing
• swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat
• Severe itching of the skin, with a red rash or raised bumps.

Stop using this medicine and seek medical help straight away if you experience these symptoms.

Some side effects are rare (may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people)
Gastrointestinal disturbances (including gas, diarrhoea, abdominal and/or stomach discomfort or indigestion)
Rash, itching, hives

Some side effects are very rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people)
dizziness, headache, tiredness, flushing

What Venoruton contains

• The active substance is: O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutoside (= oxerutin). One tablet contains: 500 mg O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutoside (= oxerutin).
• The other ingredients are: macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica.
