Bausch & Lomb Vidisic Eye Gel 10 g

The product is used as a replacement for tear fluid in the absence of tear production, for the treatment of dry eye symptoms (dry conjunctivitis) and for protection against further irritation. 

Dry eye production can have many causes: decreasing tear production in old age, work in air-conditioned areas, work at the monitor, hormonal changes in transition, etc. Negative environmental and climate impacts also play a role in the dry eye. Due to its high viscosity Vidisic gel drips into the eye. The product creates a protective film with high adhesion and durability and keeps the cornea and conjunctiva long moist. 

Composition:
Carbomer 980 in an amount of 2.0 mg in 1 g of the eye gel. 
Cetrimide, sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, water for injections. 

Recommended dosage:
Treatment of dry eye syndrome requires individual dosing. Unless the doctor recommends otherwise, 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 3-5 times a day is applied according to the severity and nature of the problem. It is recommended to drop into the eye 30 minutes before bedtime. 

After dripping, move the eye to disperse the gel evenly. When treating a dry eye, which is usually long-lasting or persistent, it is necessary to attend an ophthalmologist at regular intervals. Vidisic, the eye gel is also suitable for long-term therapy.
