If you are not sure if your treatment requires antibiotics , test yourself with the VITAMIN STATION CRP home rapid test. C-reactive protein (CRP) is a non-specific marker that is formed mainly in the liver and helps determine bacterial infections and other inflammatory diseases. Depending on the concentration of CRP in the blood, different dashes appear in the test to allow a more accurate interpretation of the result . In a healthy person, a CRP concentration is less than 8 mg / l, while a concentration greater than 100 mg / l indicates a serious infection or inflammatory process. Mean values between 8 and 100 mg / l are accompanied by more or less severe viral or bacterial infections, which can be easily managed with appropriate, doctor-prescribed treatment.

Main features:

  • self-diagnostic test for blood CRP levels
  • easy and fast to use
  • result in as little as 5 minutes
  • reliability 97%
  • the package contains all the material needed to perform the test

Use

1. Wash your hands with soap and rinse them with clean water.
2. Tear open the protective bag (notched) and remove only the cartridge and pipette. Discard the small bag with desiccant.
3. Unscrew the solvent dropper bottle.
4. Push the small orange pin all the way into the lancet until you hear a click to indicate that the device is activated.
5. Remove the orange pin by turning it left or right.
6. Clean your tummy of your index finger or middle finger with an alcohol wipe. Massage the end of the finger so that the abdomen of the finger is perfused.
7. Firmly push the end of the lancet onto the alcohol-cleaned finger to make good contact. Press the start button.
8. The needle tip is automatically and safely retracted after the injection.
9. Massage the end of your pierced finger to get a drop of blood.
10. Place the pipette against the drop of blood without compressing the balloon. The blood is drawn into the pipette up to the marked comma due to capillarity. If the blood has not reached the comma, you can massage your finger again until there is enough sample. If possible, avoid bubbles.
11. Drop the sample by squeezing the balloon on the pipette into the open dropper bottle
as shown. Press the balloon 2x to 3x to transfer all the blood to the solvent. Then return the screw cap to the vial and mix well.
12. Break off the dropper tip on the blood sample vial and add 4 drops of the diluted sample to the test window on the cartridge.
13. After 5 minutes, evaluate the test according to the package leaflet. Do not evaluate after more than 10 minutes.
