The Septofort pastille medication disinfects your mouth and throat. It acts as a preventative and at the same time treats infections in the oral cavity and in the upper respiratory tract . It has a pleasant mint flavor and does not contain sugar, so it can also be enjoyed by diabetics. Used for:
- aftech
- gum inflammation, tongue, nasopharyngeal
- postoperative states in the oral cavity or throat
- after tooth extractions
- erosion of the oral mucosa of various origins
Septofort is suitable for children from the age of 5, juveniles and adults. Pregnant and breastfeeding women may only use it at the recommendation of the attending physician.
Dosage:
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age use a lozenge three times a day. Children from 5 to 12 years of age are given twice a day 1/2 to 1 lozenge.
Leave the pastilles freely in the mouth and take them after a meal. After taking the lozenge, do not eat and drink for about 1-2 hours and at least ½ hours must pass between the use of the lozenge and tooth cleansing. If you do not feel better within 3 days or if you get sick, you should consult a doctor.
Composition:
The active substance is chlorhexidine digluconas (2 mg) in one lozenge.
The other ingredients are sorbitol, peppermint flavor, corn starch, magnesium stearate, green foliage 600938, aspartame.
Notice:
The effects of chlorhexidine and the substances contained in toothpastes can be interrupted, so toothpaste and Septofort 2 mg should be used with a time span.
